Unfortunately,

as this is the MI5 secret library and not a florist's, there is no information you can find about
the Cosmos flower that seems useful. Although, it was apparently voted Britain's 37th favourite
variety of flower by attendees of the 1941 Chelsea Flower Show, so maybe there's something there.

You doubt it though.
